Brooklyn, NY

Teddy's Bar & Grill, Williamsburg. Despite it's being hump night (Wednesday), DJ D rocked the regular crowd at Teddy's and perhaps a dozen or so IM supporters with a four hour set of anti-war tunes and other protest music. Among the songs were NYC club debuts of three great anti-war tunes: "Hey Ho" from IM national committee member Steve Carlson's PleasantVille CD; "Peace Is The Way" from the brand new "Give Peace Some Chants" CD by NW Connecticut Moratorium regular Charlie Kiel; and IVAW member Charlie Anderson's moving, "The Price We Had To Pay." With donations and pledges from folks who couldn't come, the Iraq Moratorium picked up a couple hundred sorely needed dollars to continue its work.
