Veterans for Peace, Iraq Moratorium, MFSO, Vigil for Peace, 3-21, Corner of River and Bridge Sts. Twenty people gathered in downtown Chippewa Falls on Saturday to stand for peace and to read aloud the names of the 94 soldiers from Wisconsin who have died since the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq began. It was a beautiful day but such a somber moment to hear the names of those who are gone forever. We need to think about bailing out of these wars more than we need to keep bailing out Wall Street.
