The Grandmothers for Peace came out on Friday the 17th, to observe Iraq Moratorium Day #20. A group of young boys took up a position 10 yards or so behind the picket line and spoke encouragingly to all of us and to passers by. They were very curious about our efort and asked numerous questions. I guess one never knows just when a teaching moment will occur.
