This morning, Saturday April 18, 7 of us stood on the corner of 51 and 70 in Minocqua for a little over an hour. Our "Honk for Peace" signs drew more horns than ever before. Literally at least one-hundred. But one middle aged women scolded that we should "Get a Life" and middle aged man pointed out that "Freedom Costs" both seemed to make good points. We are trying to get lives by trying to stop the killing and that freedom costs is certainly right on. While these two folks were attempting to detract us we all found them encouraging. The weather was perfect for a change and a good time was had by all. Hope to see more of you on May 16th, at 10:50 AM till Noon, same place. Mark your calendars. Future vigils are planned for the third Saturdays of each month.
