The War Moratorium (Formerly Iraq Moratorium)

One of the main speaking points was discussing the strategy to get US Attorney General Holdner to appoint a special prosecutor to hold those accountable for illegal torture during the Bush administration (Matt Rothschild). Once a prosecutor is appointed he/she will begin to unravel the Bush/Cheney criminality. Another major theme was the history of Afghanistan and more on the national effort to get the US out of Afghanistan (Adam Schesch). Bonnie Block then spoke on why Dennis Kucinich's 12 point plan for withdrawing from Iraq would also be a good model for withdrawal from Afghanistan and Pakistan. After the open mic period, Buzz concluded the discussion with future action plans.
